Participation in "Post Junior Summit in Kuwana 2017"

Kuwana city's international exchange project "Post Junior Summit in Kuwana 2017" was held in Rokkaen.
Purpose of this event was to foster high school student with compassion to contribute their experience and learning back to local community in the future, not only to provide opportunities local high school students and international students to learn Kuwana 's attractive points through international exchange projects but also to conduct to promote cross-cultural understanding through communication.

Four students participated to this event from Yokkaichi High School. They visited Rokkaen together with other 60 students including junior high and high school students from inside and outside of Kuwana city and international and Japanese students from Mie University. They experienced wearing kimono and observed the facility of Rokkaen.
After lunch, participants were divided into groups and discussed on two topics of "activation and internationalization of Kuwana City" and "Dissemination and utilization of attractiveness as a tourism resource of Rokkoen" with World Cafe style. After the discussion, each group made a presentation in front of the mayor.

At the end of the event, proposal were summarized, read aloud by all the participants then submitted to the city mayor.

Mie UNESCO School Workshop and Evaluation 2016


Subsequently "Mie UNESCO School Workshop and Evaluation 2016" was held hosted by Mie University Regional ECO System Research Center. Dr. Park Hye-Sook a faculty of Mie University of the Graduate School of Regional Innovation Studies reported about project of Mie University 's UNESCO School Consortium.

After that, as a parts of Mie prefecture's UNESCO School Activity Report, Yusuke Tsuboi, a 2nd grade student of Yokkai High School made a presentation on the Super Global High School on behalf of our school.
