Lecturer: Dr. Fumio Kagota… Senior student of Integrated Science department, Tokyo University）
Dr. Kagota is a gynecologist and at the same time a student of Integrated Sciences Department.
He took UTCE (University Testing Center Examination) 8 times since 2004. He finally passed it in 2011. He has been enrolled as a student for 6 years since then.
He decided to take university examination when his son was taking the exam. He did not have opportunity to take one when he was young due to Tokyo University dissension (1968-1969). He kept his work as a gynecologist and prepared for exam. He finally passed Science II course. He decided to study in the department of Liberal Arts because he thought it is possible to study wide range of knowledge.
He mentioned that there was a time which was difficult to obtain credit because of the conflict schedule between his work and classes. However he believed it is important to challenge all what we want to do. He also emphasized the importance of learning broad and shallow range of knowledge.
He also mentioned about current situation of hard environment of gynecologist.
Students enjoyed last lecture of the term even though number of student participation was small due to class match event.
