Global Science and Technology Company Visit Workshop

 On December 5 (Wednesday), SGH and SSH co-hosted the "Global Science and Technology Company Touring Workshop". Participants visited the Toshiba Memory Co., Ltd., a global company located in Yokkaichi, Japan. and viewed the semiconductor production site at the world's top in cutting-edge NAND Flash Memory.
 After that, a presentation on student activities and their 1-day activities after they joined the company for 8 young new employees involved in production and technology development. Individual meeting and question-and-answer sessions were also held.
 We have been conducting this project since last fiscal year, and we will also use this in conjunction with this year's SSH project to visit companies that make use of state-of-the-art technology, so that participants could make use of them in their future careers. 29 Year 1 students took part in this event, in which their interests social work communication skills were strengthened.
 For reflections at the end of the session, many positive feedback was received as participants were able to visit state-of-the-art technology in actual factories in the real world and get to know how a day was like in the life of young employees and the experiences of employees, etc. They also expressed their wishes to visit more different companies in the next round.
