第10回PDA高校生即興型英語ディベート全国大会に本校生徒３名がオンラインで参加しました。全国の名立たる進学校を中心に85校が参加したこの大会で、14位入賞という素晴らしい結果を残しました（本校の歴代最高順位）。また、一年生の西村さんは参加者255名のうちから15名のみに与えられた個人賞のベストディベーター賞を受賞しました。
1ラウンド議題：
The Japanese government should prohibit theuse of SNS under the age of 16.
日本政府は16歳未満のSNS使用を禁止すべきである。
2ラウンド議題：
In Japan’s university entranceexaminations, AO examinations should be increased rather than general entranceexaminations.
日本の大学入試では、一般入試よりもAO入試を増やすべきである。
3ラウンド議題：
The United Nations should completely banthe development and use of Lethal Autonomous Weapon Systems (LAWS).
国連は、自律型致死兵器システム(LAWS)の開発と使用を全面的に禁止すべきである。
4ラウンド議題：
Researchers should focus their research onnational policy rather than their own interests.
研究者は、自分の興味よりも国の政策に着目した研究をすべきである。
