①Environment issuesProfessor Kohei Kubota, Associate Professor, Graduate School of Agricultural Life Science, University of TokyoGlobal warming and the influence of alien species on the biological interaction of ecosystem First we had a lecture on food chain and biological interaction. Then in the first half there was a lecture on the influence on biological interaction caused by global warming and the second half on the influence on biological interaction caused by foreign organisms. After that we had group work on what things can happen and what we must do in order to minimize such influence. (First half) Students actively exchanged their opinions on what they could do to stop global warming. They were sympathizing with the opinion such as importance of disseminating information through SNS and message "nothing changes if you do not do anything. Even small things must be continued." (Second half) Students exchanged opinions on the influence of alien organisms and presented their opinions as a group. They were able to get to know stories about alien species and their influences and it was a good opportunity for them to think deeply. _ |

Human rights violation: Rohingya refugee cases (Myanmar & Bangladesh) Unfair human rights violation such as ethnic discrimination and persecution, oppression of faith, restriction of movement, infringement of right to receive education, female discrimination and sexual violence, SNS hate crime. Doctors must obtain vast knowledge of medicine and to utilize it. Also it is necessary to have ability to care others. He also mentioned that if you really want to become a doctor, it would be better to enter the medical department early and start your medical career rather than sticking to the famous medical school. He mentioned that the importance of accumulate valuable experiences especially when you are young such as studying in overseas and devote yourself to research. _ |
