Ho Chi Minh City University of Teacher Training is a largest teacher training university (with 25 faculty of educations) in South area of Vietnam. 8 students of science (physics and chemistry and biology) and two professors has visited Mie University based on the Academic Exchange Partnership Agreement with Mie University.
A group of delegation came to visit Yokkaichi High School on July 4th during their stay in Mie University in order to observe Japanese high school education particularly in physics and chemistry.
Firstly, they observed a physics class and participated an experiment of sound wave form using oscilloscope. They examined tones, volume, relations between tone and wave. After this, they visited a biology class and participated an experiment of extraction of DNA from broccoli.
After the classes, they enjoyed time to interact with students from Yokkaichi High School who will visit Vietnam on September. They were divided in to groups. They enjoyed while communicate in English learning and teaching each other’s language, singing Japanese children’s song “Ookina Furudokei (A big old clock) ” They all had a fruitful time together.
